Its so hot here my deodorant sweats (see attached picture). I went on a run with Kelsey C and I made it about 20 minutes before I felt like I was about to puke. Not really because I was tired, but because we were running in 90 degree hear with 568 percent humidity. We stopped on the other side of the Uni and tried to walk back. We looped around the campus totally lost for about an hour and a half before we made it back. It was essentially like getting lost on the UW campus and trying to find Montelake. You wouldn’t think it would be that hard, but Kelsey and I are both directionally challenged on foot so we had a fun time watching all the cricket matches going on a learning the ins and outs of the campus (as we saw every part of it at least twice). We’re about to go to a music festival down town, but the jet lag is really hitting me hard. We’ll see if I can make it there.

Fucking exhausted. Walked ~ 3 miles into the city and back. God damn Australians know how to throw a party. It was the first night of this festival that happens every Saturday until January 26th, which is Australia day, which apparently is even bigger than new years. Everyone crowded downtown, bottles of alcohol were on the street everywhere and people were drinking left and right. I don’t think I saw anyone offer a drink to a cop, but I wouldn’t be surprised if anyone did.
SO…MANY…BEAUTIFUL…WOMEN. Well, attractive people in general. Our whole group—apart from me of course; I’m taken—had our heads on a swivel (both guys and girls) as everyone downtown was tan, fit, mostly blond, and dressed in a fashion that was best described by Keith as “Tastefully Trashy”. And yet none of them seemed remotely interested in any of us despite our incredibly cute accents. This disappointed many members of our group—except for me, of course, see previous statement about availability.
I can't upload photos yet...I think the internet is too slow. I'll try and get it up later. Its pretty amazing.
